With sadness, love and profound gratitude, the family of Stanley “SCOOTER” Vodopija announces his passing on February 5th, 2022 after his grueling battle with a very aggressive form of Brain Cancer (Gliosarcoma.) Scooter was born December 14, 1969 in Hammonton NJ to the late Helen P. Brewer and Stephen Vodopija and attended Oakcrest Highschool. He was a self-made Horticulturist for 20+ years and retiring Wild By Nature in 2019 after his cancer diagnosis. Scooter enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with those he loved including his dogs Diesel and Pudd’in, mechanics of all kinds, fabricating and “SCOOTER-izing” practically anything he got his hands on and building mini bikes, go karts and hot rods; like his 1969 Chevy Nova. Scooter met Amanda Silipino in 2011. They were married on June 12th, 2020 in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by friends and family in Lower bank NJ. Scooter is survived by his sons, Joshua and Joey Vodopija and their mother, Triddle Ramp; his sisters, Mary Walker (Kenny,) Linda Rymarz (Leo,) Helen De Stefano, Bernadette Braddock (Tom); and 15 niece’s and 7 nephews’. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen P. Brewer; his father, Stephen Vodopija, his brothers, Donnie and Charlie De Stefano, Joseph Vodopija; and his sister, Margaret Fifth. The family has entrusted Wimberg Funeral Home with the arrangements. Viewing/Services are scheduled for Feb. 12. at Green Bank United Methodist Church 1081 River Road, Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215 at 1pm. Repass to follow 4pm at the Green Bank Fire House.
