Michael Alan Urbon, Jr.,29 of Ventnor New Jersey passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October 24, 2021. Michael was born on July 31,1992. Michael was pre-deceased by his loving father, Michael Alan Urbon, Sr. Michael is survived by his devoted mother, Toni Ann Urbon (nee Varalli). He was the loving brother and best friend of Zoe Scull (Sean), the devoted uncle/Godfather (Favorite “Gaga”) of Blazee Hayes Scull and the loving uncle of Tiger Michael Scull. Michael was the loving grandson of Francesca Verno (Anthony) and Victor Urbon. Predeceased by his grandmother, Kathryn Urbon (nee Childs). Michael was the loving nephew of Felicia (Matthew) Carroll, John Varalli (Lois), Kimmy Varalli, Mark Urbon (Judy) and Monica Eakins (Michael). Michael is also survived by many cousins and so many friends from near and far. Michael will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Michael’s love for the beach, ocean and surfing was his greatest passion. He was a true “beach bum” and the epitome of a “surfer dude”! Michael’s time spent with his family and being the life of the party was his greatest pleasure- but nothing or no one brought him more joy than spending time with the love of his life, his niece and Goddaughter Blazee! He was the best “Gaga” to Blazee! Michael was so laid back, such a free spirit and just a true gentleman with a kind soul! The way he lived life to the fullest will never be forgotten! Michael took so much pride in getting his wedding officiant certification for the sole purpose of marrying his little sister (his side-kick) and her husband, Sean who was more like a brother than brother-in-law. The 3 of them were inseparable! Anyone who knew Michael is well aware of the challenges and struggles he had. Michael tried so very hard to overcome his struggles, but unfortunately, they were just too powerful for him. If Michael’s demise can open up the eyes of just one person struggling to get the help they need, then Michael will not have died in vain. Addiction is a disease, not a choice and, unfortunately there are too many people struggling with this dreadful disease. Michael touched so many lives and would want those he left behind to smile and think happy thoughts when they think of him, rather than be sad and cry. He’ll always walk beside the ones he loved until they meet again! Friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate Michael’s life on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 beginning with a visitation starting at 10am until noon with the service starting at noon at Wimberg Funeral Home, 211 E. Great Creek Road, Galloway, NJ 609-641-0001. For condolences or directions, please visit wimbergfuneralhome.com.
