John Joseph Fallucca
September 17, 1940 - May 2, 2017
John Joseph Fallucca, 76, died in his sleep on May 2, 2017. John was the first of three sons born to Angelina (Sceia) Fallucca and Thomas Fallucca. John was born and raised in Hammonton where he attended Hammonton High School. He played the saxophone with his high school band and the all state band until he graduated. John earned a teaching degree and went on to obtain his master's. He served in the Army Reserve. John taught middle school in Pleasantville until retirement. Then, he went on to teach math at ACC. He received letters and calls throughout his career from students who thanked him for caring and inspiring them to reach for their dreams. John married and moved to Port Republic several years after graduating from high school. He and his wife, Patty, raised two children and spent their lives in Port. John served on the Port Republic Planning Board for many years and enjoyed giving back to his community in such a meaningful way. You could always find him speed walking around town stopping only briefly to catch up with neighbors. John loved his family and friends. He was a huge fan of the Philly sports teams. A highlight in his life was an extended trip he and Patty took to Italy. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Cramer) Fallucca; his brothers, Phillip and Tom Fallucca; his two children, Glenn Fallucca and his wife, Amber and AnneMarie (Fallucca) Wall and her husband, Jed; his three grandchildren, Lucas, Sophie, and Violet Wall; and extended family and lifelong friends whom he held in the highest regard. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wimberg Funeral Home, Egg Harbor and Galloway. For condolences, please visit wimbergfuneralhome.com.
