John Dove, 69, of Sweetwater, originally of Brigantine, born in Atlantic City on April 2, 1952 and passed into the Lords hands on February 2, 2022. Graduated Holy Spirit HS 1971. He retired from Resorts after 33 yrs., operating engineers local 68. John is predeceased by mother, Florence (William) Grimshaw and father, Warner Dove. He is survived by his loving wife, Robyn; his daughter, Janette (Ephraim); his stepchildren, James, Charley (Lauren), April, and Charlotte (Brian); his grandchildren, Joey, Aiden, Nina, Ryan, David, Shelby, Riley and Milana; his brothers, Thomas (Donna), Richard (Linda), Stephen (Lisa) and James; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. John loved his family and friends, the Philadelphia Eagles and making people laugh and smile. He enjoyed time outdoors boating and vacationing with his wife, Robyn, who he adored. He tinkered and fixed almost anything. Made friends in an instant, had a very competitive spirit, good athlete and was strong as a bull. John is loved by many and will be missed by all. A gathering will be held on Wednesday, February 9 from 10am to 12pm with a service at 12pm at Wimberg Funeral Home, 211 E. Great Creek Rd. Galloway 609-641-0001.
