Dora Campagna (nee Giunta), 93, of Egg Harbor City, passed away peacefully, February 13, 2018. She was born March 13, 1924 in Mays Landing. Dora spent most of her life in Egg Harbor City. She and her husband, Sid owned and operated Sid’s Hardware known by locals as Western Auto for over 25 years. Dora was an avid bowler on Western Auto/Sid’s Hardware League in Egg Harbor City and also joined a league in Ft. Myers, FL. She and Sid were snowbirds in Ft. Myers for over 20 years. She also loved to golf and in fact made a hole-in-one at Tereverdi Golf Course near Ft. Myers, FL. She was an exceptional cook and loved to cook for family and friends, especially her spaghetti and meatballs. Dora was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Sidney Campagna; her sons, Robert and Anthony Campagna, her granddaughter, Candice Campagna; sisters, Angie Craver and Jennie Eichinger; and brothers, Sam and Paul Giunta. Dora is survived by her sons, Nick Campagna (Cookie) and Paul Campagna (Pam Martyn); sister, Mary Laielli; sister-in-law, Ann Giunta; grandchildren, Matt Campagna (Kim), Melanie Bowie (Chris), Michael Campagna (Jen), Mark Campagna (Dana), Jarrod Campagna, Christina Virtucio (Gil), Natalie Ciliento (Kenny Sargent), Dana Engle (Andrew); 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at St. Nicholas Church, 525 St. Louis Ave, Egg Harbor City, on Friday, February 16th from 9:30 – 11:00 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Entombment will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5061 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing.
