David T Larned

David T. Larned, 88 of Mullica Township NJ passed away peacefully at home May 5,. Dave was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Joan Marie (Newman) and two sons; Daniel and James Larned. He is survived by daughter, Elizabeth Hagaman (John), and son, David T. Larned, Jr., brother, Ralph Larned, and four sisters; Linda, Betty, Mary, and Marillyn Larned. Dave also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Dave retired from the United States Navy in 1975 after 20 years of service. Dave served during the Vietnam War. In 1996, Dave and his wife retired in Winston Salem, NC where he spent the next 12 years enjoying woodworking, taking care of his yard, reading, and spending time with his family and church friends. In 2008, Dave returned to New Jersey after the sudden death of his wife. At the family's request, burial will be private at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor, NJ where he will be buried next to his loving wife. Dave's family would like to send their deepest appreciation to Heritage Assisted Living and Bayada Hospice.
