Connolly, Corrine (Chris), - 89, of Egg Harbor City, passed away on May 6, 2022. Chris lived a long, happy life and died peacefully in her sleep at Spring Home of Galloway. Chris is pre-deceased by her husband, Jack Connolly, and her brothers Lee Blanchard and Charles Blanchard. Chris was employed for over 30 years by the Mullica Township School District as a Lunch Lady. She loved playing bingo and attending penny auctions and firehouse dinners with her longtime friends Joan Sallis and Patricia Esposito. Chris volunteered for many organizations over the years and was a lifetime member of the VFW Harry Kehler, Jr. Post 5043 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Kathy and Bill Smallwood and Terry and Frank Esposito. 4 grandchildren and their spouses, Tara and Sam Perone, Frank Jr. and Wendy Esposito, Kristine and Joe Smallwood-Contreras, and Will Smallwood. She was proud of and adored her 5 great-grandchildren Siena, Lia and Mateo Perone and Jay and Gabe Garcia (Smallwood). A viewing will be held on Monday, May 16th, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am with services at 11:00 at the Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City.
