Cecilia “Ceil” E. Bernheisel, 77, of Pleasantville, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 17, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. Cecilia was born on May 11, 1944, to the late Albert B.D. Bernheisel, Sr. & Eva Sally (Baker) Bernheisel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She graduated from Oakcrest High School in 1963. She worked as a Home Health Aid early in her career and in various casinos and retail businesses until her retirement. There wasn’t a person around who met her and didn’t love her. Later in life, Ceil moved to the Village of St. Peter’s where she was again loved tremendously and was very actively involved in her community. Cecilia’s interests include reading her Bible, Christian & devotional books, painting, coloring, and of course, being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she loved very much. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered for her loving/kind heart and her contagious smile/laugh that could light up any room. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers John Bernheisel and Albert B.D. Bernheisel, Jr.; her uncle George B. Baker, Jr. and her nephew, Scott S. Bernheisel. Cecilia is survived by her children, Cheryl M. Finn and Mark A. Sutton, Sr.; her grandchildren, Jessica (Gary) Ireland, Patrick (Colleen) Finn, Bryaunna (Steven) Vanes, Mark Sutton, Jr., Haley Sutton, Ryan Finn and Robert Hollingshead; her 12-great grandchildren; her brother, Robert J.
