Arlene McCarty

September 16, 1950 - March 20, 2017

McCarty, Arlene, 66, of Absecon, NJ passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 20 while recovering from a recent surgery. She was surrounded by loved ones and will be missed greatly. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family and three beloved dogs. She was a proud member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton since it was founded over 40 years ago. She was also a volunteer for South Jersey Field of Dreams and a strong advocate of the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, located in Egg Harbor Township. Arlene worked at The Friendly Deli, Brayces Orthodontics and Seaview Dental Arts. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry, of 46 years; her two children, Michele and Kevin; brother, Joe (Linda) Puzzini; many nieces and nephews; her dogs, Brandi, Abby and Duchess; and her grand dogs, Rockne and Kosmo Mac. She is predeceased by her mother, Mafalda and father, Anthony Puzzini; and 3 dogs, Winston, Caesar and Dino. Arlene will be remembered for her kind ways and caring manner. She had a giving heart and was devoted spirtually. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25th from 9:30 to 11:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Absecon. Burial will immediately follow at Atlantic County Veterans’ Cemetery in Estell Manor. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wimberg Funeral Home, 211 E. Great Creek Rd, Galloway 609-641-0001.
